Immersed in the vibrant underground music scene of Geneva, Switzerland, TheseShapes emerges as a dynamic force led by a former punk-rock enthusiast whose ardor for electronic soundscapes knows no bounds.

Swapping guitars for a digital audio workstation (DAW) and modular synthesizers, this visionary artist draws inspiration from the ethereal worlds of sci-fi cinema and kaleidoscope of human emotions. The odyssey of TheseShapes began in 2017 with the release of several independent EPs, quickly capturing the attention of an informed public and obtaining recognition from prestigious labels such as Infxted Records (CH), Circulate Records (US) and DZB Records (SP). In 2020 alone, three distinctive EPs and two tracks featured on renowned V/A compilations highlight the prodigious talent of TheseShapes.

The turning point comes in 2021 with the debut EP titled Perspectives on Circulate Records (US), followed by the launch of the inaugural album Random Space on DZB Records.

In a relentless quest for new musical horizons, TheseShapes deliberately chose to take a break, releasing only one EP titled Follow the Pattern, in order to devote themselves to refining their skills and creating an immersive live experience.

In 2023, TheseShapes made a triumphant return with the single Serie 002, a collaboration with NATS and Kismet, as well as a new EP, Space Line, on DZB Records.

The year 2024 begins with a bang with two tracks signed to Threeeknobs Records. Notably, TheseShapes is beginning a significant transition, favoring captivating live performances over traditional DJ sets, a trend initiated in 2023.

Expect a series of new releases and innovative projects, as TheseShapes continues to push the boundaries of sonic exploration.
