I have been producing electronic music through different projects for almost 10 years. From techno to synthwave, through house and trance, but also more experimental styles like ambient or noise. I co-founded the label Pulse Records in Lausanne, which brings together four live electronic musicians and which serves as a platform of expression for many producers in the region. With a dozen releases (albums, singles, EPs) since 2022, I currently perform under the name e-garbage, a nickname that reflects my DIY approach and the hacker spirit that I integrate into traditional music production techniques. For this Jam-conf, I'm going to talk to you about how to break up your synths, the importance of simplicity, inspiration, and the way I play on stage. Love and garbages <3
Jams-Confs are meetings where a guest artist presents their live setup and shares their production philosophy. These moments of exchange offer the opportunity to discover different approaches and philosophies specific to electronic music artists, thus promoting mutual inspiration and the sharing of knowledge. The guest has total freedom regarding the format of the conference, with the only constraint being a duration of approximately one hour.
