The Akai MPD18 is a compact USB MIDI controller designed for creating beats and triggering samples. Equipped with 16 MPC pads sensitive to velocity and pressure, it offers the iconic touch of Akai's famous MPCs. It also has the Note Repeat function, an assignable fader, 3 banks of pads (up to 48 assignments) and works simply via USB, without an external power supply.
