SSL 2 / 2+ MK II – Significant improvements for exceptional audio quality

• Improvements to the already exceptional mic preamps:
  The SSL 2 / 2+ MK II retain the ultra-quiet reference mic preamps (EIN of -130.5 dBu) but now offer even higher performance:
  • Expanded gain range: 64 dB (compared to 62 dB on the 1st generation)
  • Improved dynamic range: 116.5 dB (compared to 110.5 dB on the 1st generation)
  • Maximum input level: +9.7 dB (compared to +5.5 dB on the 1st generation)
• New generation conversion:
  The SSL 2 / 2+ MK II are now equipped with high-performance 32-bit / 192 kHz converters of the latest generation (the same as those of the SSL 12), for unrivaled audio fidelity and recordings of exceptional precision.
• Greatly improved balanced outputs:
  Thanks to the new converters, the balanced outputs reach a dynamic range of 120 dB (compared to 112 dB on the 1st generation) – giving you true studio-level monitoring.
• Redesigned headphone outputs:
  The headphone outputs now offer an impressive dynamic range of 119.5 dB (compared to 111 dB on the 1st generation), guaranteeing you precise and reliable listening for your decision-making.
• Switchable high-pass filter:
  Both input channels now feature an switchable high-pass filter, cleaning up unwanted low frequencies right at the source.
• 3-4 balanced outputs on the SSL 2+ MK II:
  The SSL 2+ MK II now offers 4 fully balanced ¼" TRS jack outputs, replacing the previous unbalanced RCA outputs – optimal compatibility with professional equipment.
• Front headphone outputs:
  The headphone outputs are now located on the front of the interface for more convenient use and immediate access.
• SSL 2 MK II:
  Now features 2 headphone outputs (shared mix), making it easier to collaborate with other musicians or engineers.
• SSL 2+ MK II:
  Retains its 2 independent headphone outputs (with the possibility of listening to different mixes) and adds a new function allowing you to respect or not the monitoring mix control when it is set to outputs 3&4.
• Front DI inputs:
  The instrument inputs (DI) are now positioned on the front with automatic detection, for instant and more ergonomic connection of your instruments.
• Improved hardware and ergonomics:
  The MK II interfaces incorporate new physical switches with status LEDs (+48V, LINE, HPF, STEREO, 3&4), offering better tactile feedback and immediate visualization of settings.
• Professional components always there:
  Alps potentiometers, Neutrik connectors and high-power NJM headphone amps guarantee the recognized SSL quality of large consoles.
• Modernized design:
  A new, darker and more elegant look distinguishes the MK II interfaces from the first generation.
• Integrated stereo loopback:
  The Stereo Loopback function is now standard (previously accessible via firmware update on the 1st generation), a powerful tool for streaming, podcasting and online collaboration.
